GTA III Steam Starter Package

This is my starter package for the Dec.9, 2014 Steam version of "III." It
gets some of the side missions over with so you can concentrate on enjoying the
main story missions.
In the video at the next link I used Glenster's III Starter Package--Steam
version--to do some of the last missions of the game while demonstrating several
gimmicks for them.

99 Hidden Packages
One is over the median strip of the raised section of the Staunton-Shoreside
Vale lift bridge.
Vigilante 20 x 3
Firefighter 20 x 3

Four off road missions (Patriot Playground, Multistory Mayhem, A Ride in the
Park, and Gripped!)

I've also included:
- a condensed version of Robert Rusk's walk-through (thanks again!) with
some of my PC specific additions
- a folder of my maps and another of some gamefaqs maps
- yoyo's '57 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible to which I added some details and
a new carcols file (see my ReadMe file about my inability to contact yoyo)
- my African-American prostitute mod
- my Mafia Titanic Posters mod
- my sitting ducks mod to make gangs less aggressive
- a Hidden Packages and Rampage Finder mod
- descriptions of the locations for vehicles for the Import Export mission
and for the emergency vehicles crane
Since I couldn't contact the modders and I'm just offering these mods with
credit and respect at my own web site I've also included:
- Spooky's IMG Tool and Jernej L.'s TXD Workshop
- Odie's Miss Liberty, MrMilti's Shoreside Bridge, and Meltedsox' "Bridge To
Ghost Town Version 1.5"
Here are some possible ways to mod data > handling.cfg to make some missions
easier. I use the Idaho for the 1957 Chevrolet mod. A super Rumpo can be used
for "Big 'n' Veiny," "Turismo," going to an unlocked island early (due to the -1
for column I), etc.

Look at your mission strategy before deciding to make one of these better or
worse. For example, you might wait till after offering one of these to the
emergency vehicle crane in Portland before making it worse:

The Health code gesundheit can be used to heal Claude and the vehicle he's
using without harming your save game.
The Steam "III" has a gltch whereby the lettering of the opening screens
is very light or not visible but you can still detect the number of lines of
words. The information below may help you navigate those screens anyway:

Once the game has started the letters are visible as is normal.
Save your save files in a separate folder as backup (in case those faint/in-
visible letters cause you to delete a file accidentally).
Thanks to Silent, ThirteenAG, and thehambone at GTA Forums for telling me that
if you use compatibility mode (which you don't need for my safe game) your save
game folder doesn't appear in Documents but appears in Users > Public > Public
Documents. However, your can Copy and Paste it to Documents and run it without
compatibility mode.
